Hire

To hire and begin training new salespeople, enter the number of people to be trained in each area under Salespeople–Hire.  A new salesperson must spend one quarter in training in an area prior to being sent to the field to sell.  Salespeople in training will be assigned automatically to their area when training is complete.  No further decision entry is necessary after the salespeople are hired.  If you make an entry in the following quarter, you will hire additional salespeople to begin their training period in that quarter.
